Thailand Tourism Festival is one of the biggest annual festival in Thailand organised by The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). This is a FREE festival that you can enjoy and touch our Thai culture, art, lifestyle, intelligence of locality, food and dessert from every part of Thailand in one place.
This year is the 37th Thailand Tourism Festival highlighting "Thainess". The festival is divided into 10 zones. Let's go and have a look the highlight!!!
Each part of Thailand has the unique style. Let's start at the Northern village zone ...
The Bosang Umbrella is a handcraft umbrella made from mulberry paper. The method of how to make it passes down from generation to generation for more than a 100 year.
Khaw Khong Khaw Thothe is a local dessert that we believe you don't know its name before.
Come and taste a drift coffee which coffee beans are grown in the northern part of Thailand.
Another highlight is taking a selfie with hill tribe people such as The Akha, The Karren, The Hmong and The Palaung.
Move to the next zone, Northeastern Village, some people are called I-San.
You want to try the real "Som-Tum", don't you? Come to this village!!! Our recommendation is tell them just a little chili.
Next zone is Central Village zone. This house architecture design can only be found in the central of Thailand.
From Central Village then move to the Southern Village. Dazzling with seafood and curries.
The festival also coincides with the Chinese New Year in the eight zone which features the atmosphere of the celebrations and present a variety of themed activities.
The ninth zone will look more exciting with dinosaur exhibits and a visual tour to explore many discoveries made in Thailand.
Go and enjoy other zones by yourself at Thailand Tourism Festival 2017, Lumpini Park. The festival will run daily from 2 - 10 pm.
